I am not a professional historian, nor am I a professional author. I am just a student who is interested in the life and times of John Laurens and the American Revolutionary war. This is a book that I am writing for fun, with the hope that I can help some people get a rough idea of the life of this great soldier, and maybe even spark someone's interest in this time period. If you are looking for a detailed biography by a professional, I would recommend 'John Laurens and the American Revolution' by Gregory D. Massey.

After graduating college he heads back home to get his life in order... and tell his parents he's gay. Parents he thought were homophobic. Phillip thought he was prepared for the changes that would occur on his life. Undoubtably, it seemed like he actually wasn't. Because Phillip was ready to move with his dad, of course. But he would have never expected his father to be so different from who he remembered. He didn't expect "John" to be actually...a guy. And most definitely, he wasn't prepared for a Stepsister.

After the war we know Laurens dies, but what if he lives? We know Martha and Frances are in south C. But what if they get bored of it. We all Laurens and Hamilton are in love. But can it stay that way?

They will probably mostly have their historical appearance but there may be some musical appearances. This book may also contain smut, depression and a few more things such as that. I'll put trigger warnings in the chapters.

John made a mistake. He lost his virginity at fourteen and ended up getting the woman pregnant. She died and he kept the child, with the consequence of being cut out of his family. Now he's seventeen with a two year old daughter, working two jobs and attending high school. Even with these stresses, he still kept time to spend with his daughter. He didn't hide the fact he had a child. She was his pride and joy and loved her unconditionally. Alexander was basically the star of the school. Everyone looked at him like a God. He was the star of the lacrosse team, top of his class, and hot. He did get some hate, as he was an put bisexual, but it never seemed to get to him. He was perfect.

After a horrific accident, John Laurens is left in the hospital under critical conditions. Alexander, his husband, spends everyday he can by John's bedside. He stays until visiting hours are over and then he goes home, sleeps, wake ups, goes to work, then the hospital. This routine is hard, especially since they have three children, a sixteen year old, a fourteen year old, and a five year old, at home. This book will focus a lot on the children as well. Lams isn't the only focus but most chapters will have Alexander talking to John. Francis Lauren's family move into the same neighborehood as the Hamilton's. Francis meets new kids in the neighborhood, but she then meets this kid that has caught her eye.
