This short story is about a young adult, who proposed to a girl and quickly got rejected. As he walks back from his rejection, he passes through a road which is known to make people happy. Looking for his salvation, he sees someone from his past and things don't turn out the way he intends.

Mason, Mae-Mae, Lorilei, people call me plenty of things but never have I been called someones lover. Maybe because I'm a girl with a boys name? I don't know what drug Bella-Rose and Emilio were on when they named me but I'm all girl...and i do like someone but your gonna have to read me to find out where this goes.

Alice was perfectly fine living the highly secretive and cavalier life she had. Honestly, between the exotic locations and to die for gadgets, life couldn't get any better, and she was content thinking she was the only one of her kind. That was until she met him. Ever since that day on the airplane he's been doing nothing but turning her world upside down and then some. That is to say, in a world full of adventure she wasn't expecting this one.
