Diminishing Decay is the second story of the series, however, the first was a prequel so this can be read as a stand-alone story! This is a collaborative story about the hardships of MCR as they progress together as a band. The story is Frerard-oriented, going through the rise and fall of both Frerard and the band itself. With nowhere left to hide, they're forced to finally admit to themselves and each other what they have felt for one another all along, swap spit and swap drugs simultaneously, and make the most of being crammed into a room designed for wedding nights.

Shortly after, Gerard arrived at the new school. The school was big, and you could get lost in there. He went into the line of K-Z last names to get signed in. Afterwards, he went into the auditorium and sat next to a boy around his age. The boy was shorter then him, but he was definitely intimidating. He had one of those cheap sticker name tag said "Hello! I'm Frank Iero". Frank looked up at Gerard, and Gerard looks up front.

La primera vez que Gerard se fijó en Frank, estaba en el patio pintando un lienzo negro. No fue algo tan claro. En la WAK siempre hay gente nueva, caras que aparecen y desaparecen, sobre todo en una toma. No tenía nada de especial. O eso pensó en ese momento. Después se acordó de esa escena. De cómo estaba parado, concentrado, con las manos manchadas de pintura, como si de verdad le importara lo que estaba haciendo. Y le molestó un poco. Más tarde -mucho más tarde- iba a saber que Frank también lo había estado mirando. Que mientras él hablaba en la asamblea, o escribía en el cuaderno, o se quedaba callado como siempre, el otro estaba fijándose en detalles que Gerard ni siquiera pensaba en notar. Pero en ese momento no. En ese momento era solo un tipo más, hablando fuerte, metiéndose en todo, y sacándole un cigarro sin permiso. Puta el weón desagradable.

MAJOR WARNING: I wrote this when I was in a VERY bad place of mind. I DON'T suggest reading this unless you truly are not affected by books, and if you aren't gonna think of doing violent actions to yourself. With saying that,this book has many triggers. Drinking, pills, self harm, rejection. This description is the only warning because I don't know how to change the order of chapters. I'm only posting this because I've moved on from that state, and things have gotten way better now. There's your warning, please let it soak in before reading.

Frank had been a butler for the Way family for a couple years now. His original plan after high school was to open his own tattoo parlor and be a piercer and a tattoo artist. However, things never exactly worked out for Frank. His father passed away and he had to drop his dreams to look for a job that paid enough for him to take care of his little sister and mother. The first two years was calm and full of serenity. Mrs.Way and her son Michael Way weren't very problematic. Although, all of that tranquility went away when her son Gerard moved into the household after taking a brief break from his crazy lifestyle. From the moment Frank and Gerard first locked eyes, Frank knew trouble was Gerard's middle name.
