I stifle a laugh as Anne's terrified shriek rings out upstairs. Once they realized we weren't actively trying to take over the human race and cause mayhem for sh*ts and giggles, the government cut us a deal. any supplies or items we needed and fifty four story, high tech buildings, each housing up to ten "monters" in the middle of the forest and several miles away from each other in return for peace.
