After her divorce, Alice moves to a small town called Riverdale. She meet her neighbors Fred Andrews and FP Jones and will come to learn that she would make friends for life. But the life of a divorcée with two teenage daughters who have moved from the city is everything but easy. How will they find their way in this small town and what will happen when the bond between them and the neighbors across the hall becomes serious? Will Betty push her crush for the redheaded boy aside? Will Polly learn to deal with her parents seperation? Will FP get back on his feet and learn how to deal with his depression? Will Fred ever get over the passing of his wife? Will Alice find her way into her new life?

Around a month had passed since Hermione Granger-Weasley got married, having just returned from her honeymoon the happy family got a surprising invitation that they couldn't avoid, an invitation to the official Granger family reunion. Helen Granger was passing on to the next life and it was only right that the marriage got blessed by the elder before she was gone. Now of course Hermione would have visited her grandmother separately but lucky for her...(or rather unluckily for her) Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy are getting married that weekend in secret at the same hotel the reunion is being held. Having been convinced by several different people she arrives for both occasions and the only explanation for what follows is practically disaster. Follow along in the sequel for The Marriage Law as Hermione tries to glue her non-biological family back together, after all, Happily ever after only exists in fairy tales and this? This is no fairytale.

After sixteen years of living in New York and his decade long successful career as a comic book artist, FP Jones doesn't know how to finish the story he has been telling for over ten years. He realizes there is only one place he can go to that will spark some inspiration: Riverdale. His home town, where he left part of himself before moving to the city that never sleeps. When he arrives there, he finds his old girlfriend right where he left her, with a crown on her head at the Serpent bar that she now owns. However, their meeting goes differently than he expected and along the way he finds out that he isn't the only one who kept secrets.

Cheryl finds out more dark secrets about her family when her little sister Claire Blossom returns to Riverdale. Hermione and Fred revisit past feelings, Fp helps Alice return to normality after finding out her husband is a serial killer and Betty struggles with jealousy when her friends and family seem more interested in a new arrival than her.
