Hiyori had never paid all that much attention to the summer solstice. To him, it was just an ordinary day, nothing special. Only, this year, things were different. At first, when Ikuya had proposed that they should try surfing, Hiyori was unsure how to react. He had expected Ikuya to wait for his reaction before announcing that it was a joke however, he didn't.
