A couple of Fraxus one shots, enjoy! (For being recently inactive)

Freed is a peaceful spirit living on the outskirts of the kingdom of Magnolia. Frightened by this mystical being and misunderstanding his intentions, the humans gather a mob to vanquish the spirit. After a difficult battle, the humans successfully capture the spirit's heart; however, instead of killing him, this act transforms the once kind spirit into a horrible monster. The king sends his strongest knight, Laxus to finish the job. But Laxus ends up growing closer to Freed than he expected. A/N: I am so excited to show off my piece for the Fairy Tail Reverse Bang hosted by @ftguildevents on Tumblr! This was my first time participating in something like this and I had a blast! My fanfiction is based on fanart (the book cover) created by the amazingly talented @fairiesherefairiesthere on Tumblr which you can check out here. I have been wanting to write something like this but didn't know where to start but her piece gave me the inspiration that I needed. I am really proud of how it came out (although there are other things I would have added in if I had the time). Regardless, I hope y'all enjoy this. Thanks so much to my fabulous beta reader @onyxbaku on Twitter who, among other things, helped me get Laxus to sound more Laxus-y.

Another Fraxus Story! No magic AU. Laxus' life was great, if a bit empty. He worked at his grandfather's pub 'The Fairy Tail' and was something of a local celebrity in his town. Not like he cared about what the masses of Magnolia would say. After all, they believed that a vampire lived in and stalked the town during the night. But what happens when he comes face to face with the nocturnal creature? No, the nocturnal man. What happens when the myths start to fade into reality?

They had just past near the markets when a flash of lightening struck and a little girl to be sent back down to the ground. Without knowing what was happening Laxus held out his arms to catch the storm but instead caught her. What will she bring to them, the guild and to the fairies in the sky? Freed has always had feelings for Laxus, even if he never really realized that. He is willing to do anything to protect Laxus. Laxus has never really thought of how Freed feels. He just writes it off as being weird. But, one day they take on a mission that changes the Thunder Legion's whole dynamic. Will there be catastrophic consequences?
