The world, left desolate and weak by humankind's predecessors, is on its last legs. Sinners, seen as the equivalent to garbage from birth, fight to one day earn their freedom. Some young, some mature, some crippled, some defeated. Eric, a Sinner of Jokol, is plagued by his horrific past and insatiable need for an escape. However, he understands that reality is what it is, and that the right decision isn't always the easiest one to make, often inviting sacrifice and suffering. Too many sacrifices, he's made. A Sinner who's sins are irrevocable, having left only an ounce of humanity left within a shell who searches for absolution. As such, a war most foul is waged within his mind every time these memories flood to his eyes. Is atonement the only way to end this impending insanity? What will end this nightmare that is armored by these unforgettable horrors? Eric is determined to find these answers. In his battle against the unknown, he learns secrets about the Panopticons that should've been kept hidden. Will his unyielding tenaciousness lead him to his demise, or will it reveal the answers to all that he has been wondering about?
