Robin Kay, resident of Ferndale, Michigan, isn't your average American girl. She is super tough and courageous, the captain of her hockey team, gets into fights a bunch, hates almost everything girly, and is an extreme nerd. Robin also speaks fluent Japanese, a result from spending a large amount of time in Japan for her parents' job. All in all, she's a pretty interesting person. Despite her talents, Robin never even considered the possibility of romance entering her life. Boyfriend? Nah, who needs em? Crush? Very funny. Robin was convinced she would never fall in love with someone or vice versa. That all changes when she meets Makoto Tachibana. Makoto and the rest of the Iwatobi Swim Club travel to America for a extended tournament over the summer. The events are to be held in none other than Robin's home town. Of course, the team needs a translator to help with the tournament and Robin is just the girl to help with her extensive background in the Japanese language. Emails are exchanged and Robin agrees to help. Once in America, Robin and the team become quick and unlikely friends. Although, there may be a little more than just friendship between aggressive, tough Robin and sweet, caring Makoto. How could these two possibly get along? Well, you know what they say...opposites attract! After a few years, Rin was finally coming back home from Australia. Although he longed to see Sousuke once more, they weren't on good terms when they left. Rin thought he had confessed to Sousuke, but Sousuke didn't return the feelings. Sousuke thought that Rin wanted to get rid of him. So when the two meet again, would they be able to fix their friendship? -- Completed :D
