Freen and Charlotte were once married with deep love and respect for each other. They were young and free through which they had their son, Kyle, forcing both their families to assent to their marriage even though they did not want to. Since Freen's parents were against their relationship, they decided to use pregnancy as leverage against their parents which was successful. Few months after Kyle was born, it was discovered that he had sickle cell due to his parents' genotype. Freen and Charlotte had no choice but to dissolve the marriage and be co-parents to their sickly child. Seven years later, Freen and Charlotte are married again but to different partners, Becky and Engfa respectively. They love their partners dearly. Things start getting messy when Kyle's health starts deteriorating causing Freen and Charlotte to draw closer to the detriment of their marriage. When a major tragedy hits them, it pulls them closer than before, putting their marriages on the cliff. Unresolved feelings are left unsaid and they have to make a very bold choice between their marriage and their feelings for each other.
