When Gabriella turned 16 she finally got the decision to stay with her mom or her Dad who had split up not long after she was born. She didn't know what a life with her dad would be like. She never got to see him, only dinner one Wednesday a month but that dinner left Gabby longing for a relationship with her dad that her mother never let her have. After a falling out with her mother and her dad welcoming her with open arms. Little does she know a life with her dad opens up many doors for the young girl.

Attention: this will not be following the original storyline of on my block, it will include certain moments from the show into the book but as far as everything being from the show with my spin on it is out. It would be a bit weird since we all know what happens in the show and it would take away from my "spin" if I did do it that way.
