When the palace announces the kings betrothal contest, Evander doesn't think too much about it. He loves his bakery and is determined to further his career, but his concerning feelings about King Zarrall are starting to make him think otherwise. Evander hates royals, and he hates magic, marrying the king means, putting himself directly in the middle everything he hates, but for Zarall? He might be willing to put up with it.
