Author's Note / Description:
"Learn how to fly" is a poem about difference, identity, and self-acceptance. Using wings as a metaphor for individuality, it explores the feelings of being left behind or broken in a world that celebrates only "normal." The narrator watches others thrive while hiding their own uniqueness, afraid of rejection. But in finding others like themselves - equally "broken" yet equally strong - they learn that flying isn't about being perfect, it's about embracing who you are. This poem is a message of hope, resilience, and the beauty of authenticity.
