This is really just a random book of what band really means to the members. Some will be funny, some will be sad, some will be more true than anything in the world.

A young girl named Arya tells her story day by day. Her life is filled with music, school, and the boy of her dreams. Read about how music helps her through all of her troubles and hardships starting a the way back in the fourth grade.

A book where each chapter I give my opinion on the week's shows and standings of popular drum corps. These will not be fully in depth but a my observations. (My favorite corps is Carolina Crown and I hate the Blue Devils) My favorites and dislikes will not heavily influence my pick of show of the week which there will be every week. Hopefully I will not repeat throughout the season sorry if I do.

But that doesn't mean you want too." ~ A young girl named Danica is off to the music building at the middle school for her first day of Band Camp. When she arrives at the building for her first day, she meets a senior boy who brings plenty of stories and advice. Like in the name, Liam means leader and he shows that through his character. He's smart, loyal, trustworthy, and the best person you'll ever meet. Danica can't help but feel attracted to him like every other girl in Band. But, among these feelings, are some about him having a "special connection" with the teenager, and vice versa. Not romantically, but just special. She tries to avoid the feeling but can't help it. She eventually opens up to Liam and it leads on to the best friendship she's ever experienced. Although everything good doesn't last forever. Every day Danica comes home with a smile on her face because she got to see Liam. Danica's parents become very interested in this boy and protectively dismiss him and tell her to let go, especially after the latest stories about Liam being such a "good" boy. In an attempt to keep the her daughter away from boys at a young age, Danica's mother cuts off her cell service - her daughter's main contact with him. When this happens, Danica is deviated and is now at the lowest point in her life and has to figure out what she is going to do. Does she keep being the obedient girl she was raised to be? Or does she bend the rules like Duke has taught her too, and be bad for a good boy?

I myself am a tenor saxophone player in my high school's marching band. I have actually used most of these on other people. Some do work better than others, but that might be just because I'm a girl.

Essentially, I write a story where our favorite two demigods in band. If you like slowburn, rivals to lovers stories, this is for you! I'll try to update every week. ALL (or most) CHARACTERS BELONG TO RICK RIORDAN Extra disclaimer for prologue: For me, we tried out for honors band by going at different dates and stuff like that, not all places work the band system like my state does either. It's Concert -> Symphonic -> Honors for middle school (the prologue), and Concert -> Symphonic -> Wind symphony for high school, but that won't matter much since most of this takes place in marching band. Remember, the tryouts at the beginning are FOR THE STORY. With that out of the way, I would like to clarify that this description makes the story seem way worse than it actually is. Just... give it a chance!
