Have you ever told a lie so many times that even you started to believe it? Frank is lonely. There's no way around that. It's a fact. Things haven't been the same since Gerard.. well... yeah. His friends either seem too distant or too up close and personal. And he is lost, so so lost. His life seems to be doing nothing but spiralling downwards as he plummets into another wave of deep depression over a boy he just never got over, and now with things being shook up again, he doesn't know who or what to believe. Is he to trust his heart? Or trust his brain? But even his head seems to be quite misleading and unreliable recently. -Just as like a side note, it probably becomes obvious in the book, but the stuff that's written in bold italics is stuff Gerard has said in the past. Sixteen year old Frank Iero can't seem to stay out of trouble. When he isn't getting drunk or high, he's picking fights at school or sneaking into neighborhood churches to deface their crucifixes. After his mother dies, things spiral even further out of control-and his father can only take so much before shipping him off to WayThrough Mountain Academy: a faith-based recovery camp for troubled teens tucked away in the remote town of Stehekin, Washington. Whatever remaining hope Frank has for his future is slowly drained out of him, that is, until he falls into a deep, obsessive limerence for another equally troubled camper: Gerard.

Frank has never set foot on the planet he inhabits. He was born into The Force, and organization that is attempting to colonize worlds. Ranging from his highest to lowest points in life, getting a job at the busiest strip club in town was not even close. From working busy days and nights, struggling mentally, playing crowds, and even going as far as to trying to end it, he still felt held back, even after moving to a new town, serving drinks and doing a tad bit extra just to end up spending it all on the bare minimum.

Frank sighed to himself as he finally pulled out the album he was looking for. Doing perfectly fine until Gerard said, "Ok, I will make you a deal, tomorrow night, I take you out for food. Mikey, Gerard's brother, and Frank, his best friend, have no idea. Their still living their lives, oblivious that Gerard wants to end his. Gerard is a sophomore obsessed with all things music, studying art. Frank is a reluctantly religious freshman, just thankful to finally be able to show off his tattoos. After a screwup in the system the two awkward students get roomed together, and instantly hit it off.
