*This story is basically about a private art teacher and a assigned student. The teacher (Mr. Way) seems like a regular teacher to the rest of the people, but Frank sees theres more than that. The teacher is basically like the weirdo in the neighborhood. Frank is a unhappy rich petson who's life is controlled by his parents. And when these two forces come together they create something awful yet beautiful.

After the worse beating yet, Frank ends up in hospital-- only remembering that of his father's face before he fell into darkness. Little did he know that this was to be the end of his torment. Receiving the news of the death of his alcoholic, abusive father and his mother's sentence to a mental asylum, Frank is admitted into The Umbrella Academy-- a boarding school for troubled kids. Yet troubled was an understatement as soon as he takes an interest in a black haired boy who has more than just a bad past. ------ I'm terrible at this blurb thing so don't dismiss this book on it's badly written synopsis.
