[COMPLETED] Gerard is 24 years old, and feels unaccomplished. He works at a comic store after his career as a comic artist fails, and still lives with his parents, has no friends, and the girl he likes stopped talking to him. Then, he meets Frank, the guy who works at the record store next door.

Frank and Gerard have been best friends since the fifth grade, but when Gerard gets diagnosed with Leukemia, things get even more complicated than the love they kept hidden from each other.

After the worse beating yet, Frank ends up in hospital-- only remembering that of his father's face before he fell into darkness. Little did he know that this was to be the end of his torment. Receiving the news of the death of his alcoholic, abusive father and his mother's sentence to a mental asylum, Frank is admitted into The Umbrella Academy-- a boarding school for troubled kids. Yet troubled was an understatement as soon as he takes an interest in a black haired boy who has more than just a bad past. ------ I'm terrible at this blurb thing so don't dismiss this book on it's badly written synopsis. I cant believe in you. If you were real 'God' you would save guys like me, selling their body to get food every evening. You would save me. Wouldn't you? Gerard doesn't know who the prostitute killer was. all he knows is that the killer spared his life. Gerard wants to find the man that spared his life and took many others. what a coincidence that his old high school bully frank iero is looking for the same guy.

It was just another day in Battery City for Frank, until he walked in. It was the beginning of the end of sorts, but Frank didn't know that yet. (Or the one where Frank is just another citizen of Battery City, until Gerard walks into his office and he starts remembering what life was like before the world ended and BL/ind took over.

Sweet little Frerard oneshot I wrote at the start of the year where Gerard and Frank are stargazing, which eventually turned into the current fanfic I'm working on. Also just wanted to say that this was the first time I ever wrote fanfiction, so if it's a bit cringey that's why. So, I began writing this story when I was around 14 or 15. Im not sure why I was writing about things so dark at that age, but I was. If you choose to read this fic, please bear in mind that it is very dark. This story contains mentions of SA, self-harm, physical and emotional abuse and murder. It is also currently unfinished, with the last part having been added in June of 2020. Gerard is a serial killer in this story.

Frank, a boy everyone knows. Smart, Funny, Talented. Although his friends may not be the best, he still tries his all to make everyone happy. Gerard... somewhat of the opposite. He transferred schools and is now in the same school as Frank. Gerard as desperate as can be tries and find friends but doesn't come across anyone. Will Frank be his friend? Will this be Gerard's best years or will it go all down hill?
