Spoilers for BBC Merlin, Season 5 Episode 8: The Hollow Queen I adore this episode! It's so dark and emotionally conflicting. Dark!Gwen/Morgana's friendship almost feeling real like they had once before, Daegal's character development and death, the revealed backstory on what happened to Morgana and Athusia! I had an idea for just the one other thing that would make this even more heartbreaking for me.This is me expanding on the Freya/Merlin subtext in the second to last scene. Hope you enjoy! On the night of Arthur's wedding, Merlin slips out early. Everybody drinks and laughs, and Merlin cries. He falls asleep with the word Freya on his lips, consuming his thoughts...and then wakes up to see an unexpected sight. Well, they do say love works in mysterious ways - especially for a powerful warlock.

When Merlin, Arthur and the knights are taken by bandits its up to Merlin to stop the leader from killing Arthur. But what when he sympathises with that person and realises that they have more in common than just losing lost ones. Sorry. I'm awful at descriptions. THIS IS NOT A MERTHUR STORY. IT'S FREYLIN.

Exactly what the title says. I decided to pick my top 20 favorite moments from my fandoms. Each one has a reason as to why. Some of the explanations are long and thoughtful while others are just explaining that I thought the scene was funny. Enjoy! **Will contain spoilers if you have NOT seen ALL seasons/movies for each fandom.**

I loved the idea behind my 'Scars' chapter in my oneshot/headcanon book (although yes I know others have done it) so I decided to turn it into a book. Each chapter will be a different episode, there might be some chapters in the middle after hard hitting episodes (looking at you 'Lady of the Lake'). So yeah the first chapter is just that oneshot, then it goes onto the story. Obvi won't include Arthur's death but has good Mordred. Chapter uploads will be sporadic but I promise you I'm not giving up on this story

In which Merlin has found a cure for Freya's curse, they are the perfect couple but not everything is as it seems. While Merlin is in a relationship with Freya, Arthur too realizes how deep his feelings run for the young servant. With Freya and Arthur trying more than ever to gain Merlin's affections, the fight between the two will commence...

One-shot stories disconnected from each other revolving around Merlin and Freya's love. "There must be something I can do, some way to save you." "You've already saved me. You made me feel loved."

{Modern day Merlin AU, Merthur} The dragon promised Arthur's return, but Merlin never expected it to be like this. After spending 2000 years holding onto that promise, the very least Merlin could have hoped for was a glimpse of his King on the streets- what he got , however, was so much more. He has a chance to do it all again in a modern world where his love is no longer illegal, and where he and Arthur are not seperated by class or status. However, nothing has ever been so simple for him: not only has Arthur returned, but so have Morgana, Uther and the knights of the Round Table, not to mention a few enemies who would have been better dead and the fact that none of them know who they once were or who Merlin is. Faced with the dangers of repeating his mistakes, Merlin embarks on a journey to find peace and fulfill the destiny he had assumed complete.

One shots and drabbles about Merlin, arthur, freya and Gwen. Mostly freylin because there is never enough Freylin Fanfics. These stories vault flow together but are each different. Merlin had managed to hide his nightmares from Arthur so far but how much longer? I saw this cover picture and was listening to 'thinking out loud' by Ed Sheeran and this just came to me so I had to write it. I finished this at 3 in the morning so please be gentle.
