Every summer, the four families spend the season at their cabins in the lakeside community of Moose Creek. For these five teenagers, it's their safe haven. While their normal lives may not be all that great, they always have Moose Creek to return to. However, this year, their safe haven is about to get much darker, when a dead body shows up on the shore. As secrets are exposed and lies reveal themselves, it becomes clear that some people aren't who they seem. The teenagers soon find themselves wound deep into the mystery, so they set out to find the killer, before the killer finds them.

But what will happen when a girl comes along with a skeptical life story, nothing but the clothing on her back and a condition that could piss off any psychotic killer?

It is Friday the 13th and her boyfriend Tom thinks it would be funny if she gets her fortune read at an at home fortuneteller. The Gypsy reading Krystal's future predicts unfortunate, blood inducing events install for Krystal. Despite the Gypsy's cries, Krystal doesn't budge. Does Krystal end up believing in superstition? Or is it too late for her?

This story is based off of actual conversations my friends and I have in our group chat. It all started with a simple crush. Maybe this all would have been avoided if said crush wasn't sitting at the same table as me and all the friends I wanted to talk to about him. Then Avery came up with the perfect solution: just make a group chat with everyone at the table except him! Brilliant... right?
