I wished I was normal. I wish that I never had a strange life, that I could be ordinary. Sadly, I'm not. I have always been fond of fire. It tickles at my curiosity and leaves me wondering how it works. As people always say, curiosity killed the cat. Except, that cat was my mother. I have lived several months filled with regret, pain, and anger. I just wanted it gone. And then I realized, what I had wasn't a curse. It was a gift. A gift that I had to control. I was exactly like a flame—continuously burning, had no limit, and extremely dangerous.
