For as long as he can remember, Pik has been in love with his best friend, Jaijai.
They do everything together-late-night shenanigans, shared umbrellas in the rain, sleeping on opposite ends of the same couch after movie marathons. Jaijai remembers Pik's coffee order, calls him first whenever something good or bad happens, and reaches for his hand without thinking.
Everyone assumes they're dating.
Everyone except Jaijai.
When Jaijai starts seeing someone new, Pik finally decides it's time to let go of the feelings he's hidden for years. But the more he tries to pull away, the more Jaijai seems to cling to him-becoming jealous, seeking him out, and asking questions that friends shouldn't ask.
"Why are you avoiding me?"
"Since when do you keep secrets from me?"
And the one that breaks Pik's heart the most:
"You're not leaving me for someone else, are you?"
Caught between moving on and holding on, Pik begins to wonder if he has imagined everything. Meanwhile, Jaijai is forced to confront a terrifying possibility: if they're truly just friends, then why does the thought of losing Pik feel like losing the person he loves most?
A story about blurred boundaries, years of quiet longing, and two people who keep saying "we're just friends"- even when neither of them looks at the other that way.
