Blair is sixteen and lives in a small, remote town tucked deep in the Appalachian Mountains, where everyone knows each other and nothing ever really feels new. She has a close-knit group of friends, and they all go to the town's only school. Outside of class, they spend most of their time together-swimming in the creek, watching movies at each other's houses, and wandering the woods and backroads with nothing much else to do. Blair lives with her parents in a house that sits on a quiet stretch of land, with a smaller home just off to the side where her grandparents live. She has three siblings: an older brother two years ahead of her, an older sister just a year older, and a younger brother who is three years younger. The house is always a little too full and a little too loud, but it's the kind of place everyone comes back to eventually.

This one is a strange story. You read it as you, yourself. It does and does not make sense but that is okay. You have to really feel as if you are there, seeing every single detail described, feel every feeling. ~~~~~~~~~~ This story is based off a nightmare I had years ago, a continuous nightmare where I quite literally woke up one morning, waking from the nightmare, then the following night falling back to sleep then waking up at the same point I stopped the night before. this happened for 3 nights in a row. it was strange to say the least. and a nightmare I have thought about for 7 years straight wondering what the ending could've meant. what any of it meant, if anything at all... Enjoy.
