Brooklyn lives with her three sisters in Kingston Jamaica, her parents have been in America for the last four years only coming back on holidays, when they do come back they only spend two days with them. She and her sisters are hurt by the absence of their parents but try not to show.
Adrian, an only child going through the same situation, his parents went to America when he was just four, he never saw them unless it's through a phone screen. He grew tired of this feeling abandoned by his parents.
