Y/N is the Rachel of the story. She has just walked away from her wedding to Barry, realizing at the last minute that she doesn't actually want to marry him. Still wearing her wedding dress, she shows up at Sarah's apartment, completely overwhelmed and unsure what she's going to do with her life. Sarah immediately takes her in because they're old friends. Y/N has always lived a comfortable, sheltered life and has depended heavily on her family, so suddenly having to support herself is terrifying. Meanwhile, Jungkook is dealing with his own problems. His marriage to Carol has fallen apart, and he's struggling to accept that their relationship is really over. When he sees Y/N again after all those years, there's an awkwardness between them-but also something familiar. Taehyung is the confident, playful one who doesn't take much seriously, while Jimin is the sarcastic friend who constantly makes jokes whenever things become uncomfortable. Hana is the eccentric, unpredictable member of the group who somehow always has the strangest thing to say. The six friends regularly meet at their favorite coffee shop, where most of their conversations, arguments, jokes, and secrets begin.
