Lucy Summers wasn't planning on falling for him again. Not after Beau Smith told her he "used to like her, but not anymore." Not after months of pretending they barely knew each other. But then winter comes. And a dance showcase. And late-night texts that last longer than they should. Beau swears he's over her. Lucy swears she doesn't care. Neither of them are telling the truth. Between school hallways, half-frozen sidewalks, Christmas break, and conversations they're both too scared to finish, Lucy and Beau keep drifting back to each other-slowly, quietly, like it's something they can't stop. It's a story of almosts. Of the things they didn't say. Of feelings that never really went away. Because sometimes "not anymore" is just another way of saying "I still do." Told in dual POV with achingly slow-burn tension, More Than He Said is a tender high school romance about second chances, communication, and choosing to be brave-even when your voice shakes.

jay drives when he can't sleep. mia talks when she's nervous. neither of them knows how to say what they actually mean. set in a small town full of gas stations, late-night roads, orange streetlights, and the kind of silence that says too much. this story is basically: slushies emotional repression parking lots two people accidentally becoming important to each other for people who romanticize: rainy windows, old hoodies, music at midnight, diner fries, and sitting in cars feeling strangely devastated for no reason slow burn. weirdly personal dialogue. probably too many traffic lights.

✦ Main Description (Soft Mutual Pining) Aeris Vale does not have a crush on Mirei Aozora. She just notices the way Mirei's voice softens when she says her name. She just remembers her coffee order without trying. She just feels slightly breathless when their knees touch under the lecture hall desk. That's normal. Right? Mirei, on the other hand, keeps a sketchbook full of graphite confessions she'll never say out loud. She thinks Aeris could never like her that way. They sit next to each other in class. They walk home together. They fall asleep texting. Both are in love. Both are terrified. And one of them is in very aggressive denial.

This is a story about a person who is telling you the story. World is unpredictable. It can drive you crazy. Those memories, those dreams, those scenes were incredibly out of this world for me. Or may be the most hilarious one. I don't know. I can not handle it but it resides in my veins and in every cell of my body.
