After the death of Himmel the Hero, Frieren starts dreaming of their time together. Deep down inside, she wonders if she could've spent more time with Himmel before his death. As an elf, she knew their time together would be fleeting, but she felt like she could've done more to appreciate it. After the first class mage examination, she lets curiosity get the better of her and seeks out Serie to ask about a spell that can rid herself of her past regrets, but what she finds instead is much more life changing: A spell that allows her to go back in time to when Himmel was still alive
