This is a story I wrote on July 3, 2017 when I was 16! It's been sitting and collecting dust in Google Docs since then and I'm finally mustering up the bravery to post it! It's a short story about a beautiful Friesian horse performing a flawless dressage performance. I hope you all enjoy, despite it being a very short read🫶🏻

Ebony just wants to be free. The ranch is good enough for some horses, but not her. The others enjoy being combed, fed many times a day, and even being ridden, but she doesn't. It might be an easy life, but every time the wind blows through her mane she knows she must be freed.

When a young girl finds a mysterious horse in her backyard, her whole life is changed.

The year 2045, and there as just been a nuclear war. 4 horses and their friends must try to stay alive in these harsh conditions, but they are unaware that they have powers, which makes it easier. They must stay safe from the dark riders, Ashen and make it out alive - with the help of some good soul riders along the way.

Janus, Remus, and Virgil all come from different backgrounds and are different breeds, none belonging in the wilderness. But despite their differences in breeds and former living situations they formed a band and happily lived together in the Montana mountains. But it's seems their happy little family is going to be torn apart, and nothing can stop it. Descriptions will be in the story.

AU/Non-canon- In an attempt to get away from her father, Frank, Carbohydrates fakes her own death in a 'fatal' accident with her green horse, Reggie. However, they 'forget' to tell FFRS about their plan, causing lots of chaos, their favorite.

During her time at Riverwood, Mavory has her ups and downs but at the end of the year, the decision to leave or stay is up to her. So will she head back to the city with the friends she has known all her life? Or will she stay with the horses and new friends?
