What you see is not always what is the truth, this is the case in the life of Fiyinfoluwa, who strives to find joy and love after an incident in the past that sucked out the joy of her life and left her traumatized. But this particular year will be different for her, the question is, who will fill that void in her life? She comes to meet a great woman who has her own demons in her life, but will she have the answers to those questions bothering her? In her gradual walk when she meets people and tries to open up, will she end up getting hurt or will she finally find peace when she develops feelings for the first time in her life and for the first time in a long time? Will she give love a chance or just keep living emotionlessly?

It's been a year since we were driven from our newly bought farmhouse by an evil ghost. We'd thought we had left that hag behind along with our home. But not long after we moved into a small, cramped house, we began to hear snarling, growling, and scratching noises coming from under our bed. For a full year now, we have been experiencing unexplainable phenomena, disembodied voices, and the sound of footsteps in empty rooms. The more time that passes, the more frightening things get. What's worse, we learned that our baby girl has psychic abilities and this hag has attached itself to her! (This story is just a preview)

Hey, folks, first time poster. Below is a short story of mine. It's a little bit of a love letter to the slasher genre and video game I play. It's been a very long time since I've written a single word (25) years and it took an old friend to re-spark the dream. Anyway, this was practice for me to.....I guess find a voice, get some words down, see where it went. I mean, it's garbage, but that's okay. I think it went well for what it is. IDK, you tell me.
