With her parents taken from her and her siblings due to a horse riding accident a young Chinese women works hard every day in her sugar cane fields to make money for her and her large family. Even though most her siblings do have small jobs she always takes it on herself to do more so that they can have their young and fun time. One headache stands in her way though. A Russian man from another town obsessed with making her his bride. The almost daily visits and gifts are to much and instead of enjoying what little free time she has she spends it hiding from his goons and doing small jobs to use as an excuse not to be around him. One day though everything about her life changes after a small accident leaves her wounded and hiding in a mysterious castle like mansion that no one even knew existed.
