Where does your creativity come from? Here's a little essay about Kermit the Frog and how the Muppets helped me to become the writer I am today.

Synopsis: The Nevermoore Disaster. The Nevermoore Disaster is the first book in the disaster trilogy. It takes place in the fictional town of Nevermoore, a small rural town buried in the heart of the English countryside with it‘s own strange folklore, including the story of Four-leaf Clover, the cursed black race horse that is an omen of bad luck and the legend of the old phone, a telephone box in the woods that can contact the dead. The town has been under quarantine for months after an outbreak of a disease known as the Rose virus. The quarantine is supervised by a corporate agency called Luminescence which is run like a self-help programme. On the night of Friday the 13th there is a huge storm and a police helicopter cashes into town with one unlucky survivor, Tom Harold. After the crash Tom is informed that he is forbidden to leave and is assigned to live at the Karma Hotel in Nevermoore. There he meets Jason Waterfall, a young physics student who works in the hotel restaurant as a gimmicky psychic waiter since Jason has the ability to communicate with people’s inner-child. Jason does not like to use his gift often as when he was younger it lead to a mental breakdown and he spent some time in an asylum. As their paths cross the characters soon begin to unravel a great mystery hidden in the town’s foundations drawing a line between the outbreak, an underground cult, the hotel and Jason’s father. And it is all just the beginning of something much bigger that could change the shape of the universe forever.

[Fringe&The Walking Dead inspired, I guess] Number 23, Flesh 12, Subject 08 and Patient 30. These were the names given to four girls, snached from the opportunity to have normal lives, deprived of humanity and used as bare bodies on which experiment a new chemical serum able to awake the latent capacities of the human being. As the Procedures begun to be even more massive, their urgency to escape managed them to actually exit the clinic. Now they walk into a world they don't know anymore: a kind of epidemy has taken the control over everything. Living deads walking and eating who-whatever they get their hands to. Their purpose now is to survive the new dead world, in line to find the leader of the OG(org.) and gain their revenge on him.

A true story from a distant time in my life. I don't want to glorify any way of living or thinking. This is only a glimpse into a daily existence of the sort most people will never know. While from the outside, it all may seem kind of grimy , at the time, this life was the only life we knew. Some names and details have been altered to exclude and protect the innocent.

She leaves the city and goes to a place they call 'The Fringe'. Inside The Fringe she meets Jax, a Dauntless teen nly a few years older, who fled years ago. With the help of Jax, Alane heads off to find Caleb Prior, the one who betrayed her, the one she loves.
