Silverhaunter
It was a shadowy day in Snowdin, which was rather strange, and, despite everything that had happened, I still leaned against the door, let out the heavy, anxious breath I'd been holding, and knocked.
...knock knock....?
No response.
I leaned heavier against the door, pressing the cold side of my skull to the wooden frame.
"...I'm so sorry, my child... I- I couldn't protect you." A whisper of pain.
I hear a heave of breath, and a cry of agony.
"H-here, let me-" A slam against the door startles me away from it, and I take a step forward, my molecules shifting through the door, I glance at the scene before me.
I grab the human, and I run.
****
We train.
What else am I to do?
I can't let anyone know, they'll kill her.
I can't even tell my own brother, in case he's forced to tell Undyne.
I can't put him in that position, and so I am quiet.
Even when the human accidentally lands one of her hits, and nearly dusts me, It's alright.
Because, I made a promise.
And I'm going to keep it.
