Daisy Lightfoot is a young hobbit from the Shire who feels there is more to life than living quietly in the Hobbiton. All characters except for Daisy belong to J.R.R Tolkien Inspired by The Lord of the Rings franchise directed by Peter Jackson.

This is a crossover between The lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring and Nico Di'Angelo. Nico shadowtravels to Middle Earth after the fellowship was just formed and they left Rivendell. This happens after the war against Gaia is finished. This is my first time ever writing something and english is not my first language so please be kind. Btw Nico will have some non canon powers.

After the Botfa ended, Bilbo thought Thorin was dead. How could he not, after being there for Thorin during his final moments and watching him die. The grief of losing three of his dearest friends, was too much for him to bear and he left Erebor, with only the memory of the one he held so dearly to him, and the treasures he found during his journey, so long away from home. He goes home with the thought that he would never see Thorin again and that he would have to bear his sadness alone. Not even a picture of Thorin, only the songs that would be sung forever. There was no king under the mountain anymore, not for him. Even the sons of his sister had died during the final fight and no heir was there to reclaim the throne, so the throne was gifted to lord Daín, former king of the Iron hills. After a few long weeks, he finally came back to his home, once familiar but now nothing but a vague memory long ago in his mind. At first he didn't have time to think about the company and all his adventures, too busy with buying his own housewares back, and making everyone aware that he was certainly not dead. Yet at night, when it was quiet, and he was all alone, the thoughts came back. And no matter how much he tried to get them away, they always came back, some worse than others. One day, when he was blowing his pipe out, in the front yard which he adored so much, he had to rush inside for the toilet. A path had been cut through the wheat field, not wide, just enough to show a person had entered. Rosie followed the path of broken stems to what at first glance was a bundle of clothes. She took her walking cane and gave it a gentle poke. In a flash the bundle took the form of a child, moving away with tiny hands raised over their grubby face. It was a girl, long tangled hair blown about her face, obscuring the layer of grime that was only broken by tear tracks; her clothes were of the wintertime that passed several months ago and her cheekbones were more pronounced than they should ever be on one so young. At her age, she should be cherubic, but instead, she reminded Rosie of a walking skeleton. The girl whimpered as if expecting a blow. Rosie fell slowly to her knees - though she was only a few inches taller than the human child to begin with - so as not to spook the child; she palled her lunch from her basket and held out her hand, "Are you hungry?" The child let her hands fall and she simply stared at the Hobbit in front of her, the child stood so still, unsure if Rosie was friend or foe. The old Hobbit sat up and backed away, letting the girl come forwards. When the apple was gone the child began to cry and came to Rose with arms open wide. She did not know it yet but the young girl clinging to the front of her apron would live a life of adventures one could only dream of...
