A short story takes place when the hobbits ride home after the ring was destroyed. Frodo and Sam recount there journey and explore their feelings mixed feelings.

Sam is the shy son of Hobbiton's local gardener. He's reluctant to take over his aging father's trade, but when a new Baggins moves into the neighborhood, the prospect of regularly seeing young Master Frodo becomes too tempting.

When Sam stays with Frodo on a stormy night, Frodo realises he's not the only one that is scarred by the events of the Quest of the Ring. A sweet slash (male x male) story. If you don't like same-sex pairings, here's a bit of a warning. Enjoy! :)

Samwise Gamgee has returned alone from his dangerous trip to Mordor. Back in the Shire, he is constantly urged by the other Hobbits to settle all sorts of affairs. On day, he is called to identify a mysterious prisoner. What if the grief of the last three years could finally come to an end?

This fanfiction tells the love story of Frodo and Sam. It's a short story made of one chapter only and a little bit more than 2000 word. I made it for an english homework and decided to post it. It had been four months. Four months since their return to the Shire. And yet, it had felt like years. There they all were, sitting in The Green Dragon. Frodo exhaled, taking in his surroundings. Merry and Pippin danced around, their arms linked, laughing as if there wasn't a single care in the world. Frodo glanced at the beautiful, gleaming golden rings on both their fingers. They had gotten married two months ago. And Sam had proposed to Rosie only yesterday, who had happily agreed. Now, they sat in the corner of the room, giggling and whispering. As Frodo glanced at them, he felt a tiny lump forming in his throat. No. Tiny isn't the right way to put it. And, once again, Frodo Baggins has managed to lie to himself. Samwise Gamgee, with his short red curls and his kelly eyes. He was always so close to him, no matter how far away he was. Yet, now that Sam was in the corner of the room, laughing so hard his throat would shortly go dry, Frodo had never felt so distant. He knew he had to be happy for Sam. But why did it feel like the hardest thing in the world? ... Frodo Baggins struggles with conflicting feelings about Samwise Gamgee's marriage to Rosie Cottons. After Frodo leaves for the Undying Lands, the three remaining hobbits travel home. Sam takes this split the hardest, falling into a deep depression. When Merry and Pippin lose all hope, they make a desperate call for help. All characters, worlds and languages belong to Tolkien, I own none of them (only my own fantasy writing of course).
