Amanda Petes is a biracial gal living a mostly normal life in the suburbs. She dreams vividly in the waking hours of far off places and different faces. Her senior year is invaded by exchange students that bring life to her normal routine and one teenage boy, Mansur, changes her perspective on the world. Mansur Siddiqi struggles with his past and has a hard time opening up and accepting the new experiences he is facing, just as the school has difficulty accepting him. Amanda's night time dreaming become a guide to reality and a bridge to Mansur. What can these dreams tell her? Can she bring Mansur out and touch his heart?

Her firey ruby eyes now filled with water. She closed her eyes one Last time to feel the aching pain in her heart by that memory that haunted her for years. Feeling the last tear that came out from her eyes and slowly trickled past her cheeks and died down in her lips. "Jack " she whispered.
