I ran away from the men running towards me, as I looked behind me I just hoped that they didn't catch me. I didn't want to end up in that prison. 'Oh please come soon Miracle...' I thought running as fast as I can. All of a sudden a boy with steampunk clothes jumped in and took all of the men out. "You could have come sooner." I said smirking at him. "Oh I took my time." The boy said walking to me. What if there was a place frozen in time? Well this is my home. Frozen in time. It's been that way for centuries and nobody knows how to change it. But there is some kids who have been given the gift of magic of their own kind. And one of them, is me.

The year is 3002. Ella is going to get married soon, to her beloved boyfriend of four years. They're sealing the deal at the fanciest restaurant in the city. But, something goes wrong. In a thief's pocket lies a device with the ability to turn back time. As Ella and Rick tell each other they want to be together forever, the police burst in. The device is destroyed as Rick tries to help the thief, his own brother. As Ella reaches out for him and touches his hand, the device breaks in Rick's hand. Time seems to stop for a second and a bright light flashes. They look around in confusion, unsure. Everything is frozen. Everything but them.

Natalia has lived her whole life thinking she's the only one that can do what she does, freeze time. Forgot to do your homework, freeze time. Need to get ready for a confrontation, freeze time. Anything, just freeze time. It's been this way since she wan ten. She's always wanted to share this with someone, her girl friend, brother, best friend, just walking around while the world around you has stopped. And one day, something happens. ___ I ran up my stairs, laid down in bed, and kept everything frozen. I liked this time of day and I think it should stay this way for some seconds longer. I opened my window, and saw unmoving joggers, cars, and dog walkers. I turned on my playlist. The only noise. Then, I heard something, when I shouldn't be hearing anything of the sort. Something against the pavement outside, I looked out the window, and he was moving. A boy, my age or maybe a little older, riding a skate board moving swiftly. "Wha-?" I mumbled under my breath but I stopped. The boy took out his earbuds, looked around, then saw me.

(I wrote this story in fifth grade and just recently found a Google doc for it. This is just something I wanted to maybe start up again, but I'm not sure if its worth it, so here's what I can remember. The best way to describe it is that ists pretty similar to stranger things even though I didn't even watch it until I showed this to my dad and he told me lol.) Alexa Virella.
