As I hid behind the corner I could hear his voice getting closer. I squeezed my eyes shut hoping he would turn around and go the other way. No, I thought to myself, I can't let him know it affected me. I took a deep breath and rounded the corner to find myself staring into the green eyes I fell in love with all those years ago.
