Frustrated by the inability to achieve some meaningful contribution, Rick Stanton has lost his direction in life through a festering annoyance over his own unmet expectations. Jaded with creating slogans and promotions for people whose enterprises make no truly meaningful contributions to the welfare of society, he is driven to a spontaneous, rash act - he quits.

Srihaan is twenty-two. He has a degree, a corporate job, a salary, and a life that, according to society, means he is doing fine. Then, while passing Jantar Mantar, he sees a group of students protesting. He stops. And a voice inside him begins to ask questions. Questions about the education system he grew up in. About marks, competition, degrees, jobs, and the pressure to keep moving without ever asking where we are going. Questions about why so many young Indians dream of building their futures somewhere else. Questions about a system millions recognize as flawed, yet feel powerless to change. Srihaan is not a revolutionary. He is not a leader. He is just a common man with a job to keep, a family to think about, and a voice he has never spoken aloud. **The Voice** is not just Srihaan's story. Perhaps, somewhere between these words, you will hear your own.

Along the way are thoughts, observations and emotions mixed in with quizzical short stories, pop poetry, jottings, snip-bits, enthralling images and an underlying bent towards finding the lighter side of all things which pop up in the course of events.
