The Gladers thought they had seen everything. Then the Box came up twice. Everyone was already trying to understand Teresa's arrival when another surprise appeared the very same day-me. My name is Aria Rose Carter. I'm sixteen years old, and just like everyone else in the Glade, I have no memory of my life before the Maze. One minute I was trapped in darkness, and the next I was surrounded by confused faces staring at me like I was some kind of impossible mistake.
