This is an alternative storyline to the movie/novelization of the 2018 The Predator. I will say now that Fugitive will not die. that shit pmo so much in the movie. my boy deserves better, and I feel him and Casey are a great match.
some small warning though, don't expect Fugitive or as i call him in the story Ra'lanka, to be gentle right away. I'm basing him off a different fic I read where he starts off rather mean and cruel. as I feel that is the most realistic portrayal of a yautja interacting with humans. he'll need time to really soften up towards Casey.
without further ado, here is the description:
When Casey is approached on a random morning while walking her dog, the last thing she expects is to be taken to a top-secret lab in the middle of nowhere-filled with alien technology and a living, breathing creature strapped to a metal table.
Tasked with studying the thing they call the Predator-though his behavior screams "Hunter"-she's thrilled at the opportunity.
But excitement turns to terror when he wakes and escapes, leaving barely any survivors.
Chasing him seems reckless... one mistake that should have been her end.
If not for the Hunter saving her.
Though is it really saving when he drags her along like a hostage, using her for his own purposes and refusing to let her go?
And does she really hate it as much as she claims, when he hovers over her in that way-the way he does to intimidate, to scare... to test her?
