these are phils adventures as i imagine them

Here is an excerpt from my first published book! LOLLY is a fun fantasy for kids of all ages who don't always fit in and/or struggle with belonging. Think "Princess Bride" but with a handsome and kind king. Plus, there's the gallant guardsmen...the big bad bandits (Bog, Hog, Log and Fred-he's adopted)...and a royal castle complete with all sorts of quirky characters. Also includes the crazy cooking witches who are addicted to coffee and card games. Most importantly, is Lolly, the petite witch with a huge heart-who, with her cheery cherry cheesecakes with lots of pink frosting-learns where she truly belongs. My first review!!: "Lolly is a really fun read, and as stated, good for kids of all ages. It paints a picture, using imaginative, descriptions, and astounding, artful alliterations. What was really interesting for me in reading this as an adult is that it is written in joyful spirit. It's fun the whole time. Of course there's dramatic tension, but if you grab any page at all and read it, it's lovely. It's happy. It really creates a sustaining positive state in the reader. The characters are inventive and visual as you see it in your mind. I think it would work for little kids, as a great story to read to them over several nights. It would be good for older kids. It's a cute love story about newly turned sixteen year old Spirit whose been living with the ancestors of all dogs...the great bread of wolves. In her first journey to find her real human parents and to find her true self in the world where the humans are, she encounters Alex Kinsmen who's every girls dream guy. He's the youngest football captain at Wild woods high at seventeen. Even thought Alex seems outgoing out in public but behind close doors he's a boy trying to find who he really is and not what people want him to be. He's been confused for a while so would his encounter with a mysterious girl who he ran into one day change his "normal" life into the one he's been looking for?

I'm so sorry. My first plan for this account was to write something stupid, like a reader-insert for the NaJ AU for Undertale (If you don't know what that is, good. Keep it that way.), but times are a-changing, and I've decided against my gut to finally post something. This is gonna be a super rough draft of a story that I may or may not actually write in the future. If it ends up incomplete and lost to time, then either I have given up or forgotten about it, or maybe both. Anyways, I love you all and good luck if you choose to read this :)
