This time of year was by far Carter's absolute favourite. It was remnants of summer still lingered, but the leaves were gradually beginning to warm into a golden brown before drifting down into the streets below, an indication of the colder weather yet to arrive. A short story.

It all started when the fair came to the beach. It was the annual lions Brentworth festival which meant that concerts will take place, big nights out and the fireworks display of the pier. But the fair is the part which mixes Brooklyn's feelings. Because there's always that one boy who will mess her up more then anything she could imagine. But when things get worse when Brooklyn is taken from her home life, to start a new life with the person she hates the most.
