After the world collapses, silence becomes more than emptiness. It becomes warning. Alone on the shattered highways of a dead world, she follows old routes through abandoned cities, scavenging what little remains and avoiding anything that still moves in the dark. But survival is no longer just about staying alive. When she begins to notice signs that she is not as alone as she believes, fresh footprints, distant smoke, and places recently disturbed. Emily is forced off her solitary path and into a world where danger is no longer predictable. Something is out there on Route 71. And it is not waiting by accident.
