    My mother handed me a big white envelope with my name printed on the front in big, black, bold letters. I collected it, confused. What was going on? I stared at it in confusion for a few minutes until my mum snapped me out of my thoughts. "Madam, open the envelope." She snapped at me. "Are you going to stand there and stare at it like a dundi for the rest of your life?" I said nothing and opened the envelope. Inside, was a neatly folded piece of paper. I unfolded it and read: Dear Miss Williams, Application to our prestigious school, His And Hers Secondary, has been accepted. Next session starts Monday, 15th September, 2022. You will be expected. Thanks. I fainted.
