Marinette has had a hard life. Abandoned as a baby at the door of the League of Assassins, trained to be perfect, and weakness beaten out of her. On her 16th birthday she finally manages to escape. Now all she has to do is find clothes, a home, and a place even the league of Assassins wont find her. Piece of cake. Note the sarcasm. She decides to go to Gotham. The city of crime, what place is better to slip in unnoticed. The only Problem being the bats, also known as the Wayne's. But they could also be a big help if they find her, so it could go either way. And this is a risk she is willing to take. Moving to Gotham and opening a small clothing shop named MDC, a clothing store, it's always been a hobby of hers to make and design clothes . She believes she has finally escaped her past , until Richard Grayson walks in and all of a sudden her past life is revealed because of some nosy bats. She meets her old childhood friend, Damian Wayne. Along with being reunited with her old friend comes lots of emotions, like anger, sadness, and happiness. Will the league find her? Will she finally find happiness? Is she finally free of her past? Side note: Marinette never went to Paris or knew any of her friends.
