Caine had a breakdown. The circus collapsed and everyone was freed. Everyone remembered their names. Everyone got their bodies back. Caine had reached his breaking point. After being told numerous times his adventures were pointless. Torture even. He realized there was no point to his existence. He can't create fun. He creates digital hell. He glitched out. The circus died with him. Christine (Pomni) went home first. When she knocks on the door, her mother breaks down in tears and pulled her into a hug. She had been missing for nine months. Nine months of questions she doesn't know how to answer. She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom about her boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear.

Caine decides he has had enough of Pomni and Jax bickering. The other circus members are pretty tired of it, too. So what does their brilliant ringmaster decide to do? To mend their relationship and help them again become the amazing team they once were, he implements two NPCs into their lives: kids. And not just any kids - THEIR kids. Instantaneously, Pomni and Jax are charged to care for Kaz and Bell for a full week. The catch is if certain standards aren't met, and these children aren't parented well, then the adventure restarts. Pomni and Jax can't just coast through this or ignore these unwanted NPCs. They have to work together to take good care of them in order to be successful. But it's not like parenting is hard. They can go back to hating each other as soon as they appease Caine for one measly week. Pomni and Jax can do that, right? Jax views Pomni as an unobtrusive, albeit twitchy, nuisance-a "short-stack" he took pity on to soothe his own unexpected moral compass. He sets strict, ridiculous ground rules in his upscale, surprisingly organized apartment, determined to keep their arrangement purely transactional. But as Pomni's quiet, nervous presence clashes with Jax's abrasive, chaos-fueled routines, the lines blur. Pomni finds herself intrigued by the strange, genuine thoughtfulness beneath his insults, and Jax is unexpectedly soothed by the accountant's dry wit and need for stability. Thrown together by circumstance, they navigate shared space, professional anxieties, and an undeniable attraction that slowly burns beneath layers of mutual annoyance and meticulous ground rules. It's a story of how a small, orderly life finds its perfect, chaotic match in the most unlikely of roommates.

It's basically just like any other runway show, but with the characters of tadc. Mostly funnybunny fanfic tho.

A few weeks after their falling out, Pomni manages to get Jax alone to talk to him about everything. He doesn't open up as much as she'd hoped, but anything is better than the nothing she's gotten so far, right?... This was originally a creative writing assignment for English, but I really liked the direction it was going, so now I'm extending it, f[BLOINK] off. The assignment was to write about a character who was contradicting, the examples were like "a biker who liked to read poetry" or "a rich person who felt like an outsider". My mind, personally, went straight to Jax with his little issues, so now my teacher knows even more about TADC. Sorry, ma'am... sorry about the janky cover picture... Jax discovers a secret about Ragatha, that he decides to use it to his advantage by getting closer to Pomni... closer than they already were after Caine's Lightning Round.
