The crimes have finished, the deaths have ceased, the monster locked up and put away. The town can finally rest, because the terrors are already forgotten, like a bad memory. The nightmares, however, haven't. They haunt you. Nightmares don't go away. They stick around. They like your fears, your worst memories. They like the chase, the psychological chase, through your mind. They take after you, you made them. Now you're paying for it. The wrong monster was locked up. The monster that only you could see, nobody else. They saw the monster after you stopped believing. The monster that was locked up, was nothing compared to the monster that you are. And you will get your Punishment, In Due Course.

What if instead of being banished and going after the avatar, Zuko was left in the South Pole to die? What if he, Sokka, and Katara grew up together? What if the South Pole learned to accept Firebenders as their own? What if the Gaang always had Zuko on their team? What if Zuko and Sokka had crushes on each other since childhood?

Through dilapidated buildings and past rotting figures moving in the dark, a lone group of survivors will have to traverse a path of blood and paranoia in hopes of finding even the slightest semblance of a future in the desolate apocalypse that they call home.
