I wrote this poem in August 2023, days after she fought for her life in my arms. I poured all my pain and thoughts into these words, knowing she has already read them. Though time eases the pain, it never fully fades. But with a hopeful heart, I will see you again.

Eleven year old Kayla Winters is so desperate for a miniature golden retriever. When she gets a small job at a pet shop feeding the puppies and kittens, she comes across a currently one month old miniature golden retriever. Since nobody wants her, the pet shop is selling her for only $100 dollars. Kayla has just enough money from her job to purchase the puppy a kennel, a leash, and-- she just needs money for the puppy. Just one problem. Her parents don't think Kayla is responsible.

This is where I'll have my lists of books I'm writing, because it's taking up far too much space in my bio. Much art is included in this thing. Also, even though I already have a ranting book, I may post a few rants in here just for the heck of it. A few poems may show up here as well. Finally, I may post weekly book reviews, song and movie recommendations, or other things like that. Hurt/Comfort. (REQUESTED) Fifi La Fume x Furrball. Being an alley cat wasn't the easiest when you were as defenseless as Furrball was, not to mention shy.
