A 13 year old wolf furrie is drawn into a war. There's the gamers and the furries on one side, and everyone else on the other. With two black ears, a black tail, and two fangs as long as her middle finger. Will she make it out alive, or will the status of her birth bring her to her knees?

My life would never be what in would consider to be normal, but I never assumed that I'd get myself tangled up with what could be considered the stuff of legend. My story takes place in a completely different world. In a different universe even. It all began in a land which was called Rescana at the time. Now Rescana was heavily inhabited by creatures most commonly referred to as Animalias. Well, I'd know of course being one myself. An Animalia is an enhanced being, much like a human. The thing that sets Animalias apart from an average human, is the fact that they more often than not have enhanced animal ears, eyes, tails, or even sometimes wings. Me? I'm part cat. Over time, I have inherited the nickname the Calico Cardsmaster, for that reason. My story is not one that you would appreciate if you were one who would shiver at the thought of blood and gore, if even the mentioning of war will wrack you with nightmares. Tragedy is something that seemed to stick to me like burrs. It followed my every move like a shadow, and struck at times when I begun to think that things were going to be alright after all. It almost seems like a cliche story from a fairy tale, the lot of it, but to me, it paints the bloody and horrific story that I call my life. I believe that one simply can't truly understand the hardships of the characters in those stories, unless they go through a story of their own. As I tell you the traffic events of my life, I predict that it will either sound no different to those stories that you were read before bed or on rainy days, or it will inspire you to create adventures of your own. Whatever your choice may be, I warn you to tread carefully. Adventure can mean many positive things, but terror and tragedy won't be far behind. Unfortunately, I had to learn these things for myself. I, Luciel Muadiahn, present to you a story of wonder and adventure, in hopes that maybe it can help another young adventurer along the way to the throne of legend.
