The first thing Eliana noticed was the dust. The USB drive was buried inside a box of old electronics she bought from a surplus shop near campus. It looked ancient-scratched metal casing, faded label, and no brand name. She almost threw it away. Almost. That night, while finishing a programming assignment, she plugged it into her laptop.
