Shortish stories that I've made up whilst watering the plants at work. I am trying to make them funny. But the subjects are often serious. Maybe I'm trying for black humour? I've thrown in some sex and drugs and adult themes here more than my other stories elsewhere. Please don't be offended. I'm drawn to environmental issues and I love Science Fiction, so my stories reflect that. I hope you enjoy reading them. Any feedback welcome. J.J.

In the aftermath of the Killspeed FlashPoint, Neo-Gotham becomes the stage for the rebirth of the Metal Men-robotic heroes forged by the brilliant but troubled Dr. Will Magnus. Once dismantled and scattered to protect their responsometers, the Metal Men are reawakened when strange fractures in reality begin warping technology across the city. The Metal Men, now fully aware and autonomous, must adapt to their new destiny under the guidance of Mosi Carter/Kwaku Anansi while facing escalating threats-from chemical monstrosities to rogue AIs and remnants of the Crime Syndic

Synopsis: In the neon-lit sprawl of Neo-Gotham, reality still trembles from the Killspeed FlashPoint, leaving fractured echoes across the city. When the legendary Metal Men reawaken, their responsometers hacked and their purpose twisted, chaos erupts. Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis) and Static Beyond (Virgil Hawkins) rush to contain the crisis, only to find the machines torn between destiny and destruction. Enter Mosi Carter, the new Kwaku Anansi, who reveals the Metal Men's story has been rewritten-and only by weaving their fate anew can they reclaim their purpose. But the return of cybernetic Jokers threatens to plunge the city into madness, forcing man, myth, and machine to fight as one. Through Anansi's guidance, the Metal Men discover unity, stabilizing their fractured code and forging a new identity-not as weapons, but as guardians of Neo-Gotham. With Terry and Virgil standing as mentors, and Anansi threading their destiny, the Metal Men step into legend, their true story only beginning.

SUMMARY 1: After freeing the Justice League from the Light's control, the Team, with the clone Roy Harper, were bonding but they also need a mission bonding. Naturally, they get one. Their mission? Stop a villian with the name "Time Stream". But everything went wrong with the mission. One second they were fighting the enemy, the next they were in Watchtower with Superman and-was that?-Zatanna looking at them. One problem? The Zatanna they were staring at looked a little older and more beautiful and they can't have two Zatannas, can they? SUMMARY 2: After saving the Justice League, the Team gets a mission. Along with Red Arrow, they must stop the new villian, Time Stream. But unfortunately, something happened that may danger the past, present, and especially the FUTURE. Synopsis: Placement(In Spirit Spin-off to FlashBeyond,Running Parallel to Time Masters) Set five years after the events of Flash Beyond Season 2, Future Shock follows Virgil Hawkins-better known as Static-now 35, a seasoned but semi-retired hero living in the Neo-Gotham district of Old Dakota. Years of battling Bang Babies, meta-crime, and corporate corruption have left him a little slower but twice as sharp. His powers have matured, and his control over electromagnetism is second to none, but the city he once knew has evolved into something stranger, darker, and far more dangerous. Enter Terry McGinnis, the young Batman Beyond, still early in his career and already juggling enemies from Gotham's legacy rogues gallery and new high-tech threats. When an anomaly in the Thread of Stories (hinting at Anansi's weaving) causes time echoes of metahumans from the Static Shock and Batman Beyond eras to overlap, the two heroes are forced into an uneasy alliance. Virgil becomes Terry's reluctant mentor-not just in heroics, but in surviving the weight of being a symbol in a city that doesn't always want saving. Their partnership is tested when a techno-syndicate led by Inque and a resurrected Ebon form a reality-warping alliance with an entity known only as The Current, a living fragment of The Red & The Speed Force corrupted by corporate experiments within the Anansiverse.
